At our Wilson-side Christmas celebration I showed Johnny and Will a picture of Grandpa and Grandma Wilson. I said, "do you know who this is?" They didn't. When I told them who they were they asked me some questions like "did they have electricity?" And "did they even have a house?" (kids:) I told john, this is my grandma and grandpa. It's your grandpa's parents. John wondered why he never met them. I said they passed away a long time ago and live in heaven. He looked at me and said, "mom, please don't make me emotional!" I told him I was sorry that everything is ok. He started to cry and said "it makes me so sad for grandpa that he doesn't have his parents" he then sobbed. Poor little man. Always feeling it.
Today I asked John if he got the note I wrote him in his backpack. He nodded his head, smiled, and then I noticed his eyes getting teary. I asked him if he liked it and if it made him happy. He said yes and then tears flowed and he said "it made me cry at school too, mom" whoops! #moty
It was a little note that said "I miss you and can't wait to see you after school, I love you, mom"
